I am posting from the United States, so this is not a Europe incident this time.

Also, based on the number of posts, it looks like whatever caused the incident in May was not actually fixed. Shame on you, Anet.

Fix ASAP ArenaNet!
Amen to this post! At the very least, I want all my accounts unlinked from my ncsoft master account except for my main account. There is no reason why all 4 of my accounts should be banned for purchasing Xunlai storage panes for one account. None of my family can play now. What is the benefit to having them linked, anyway?

I'm wondering if I should give support a call too. This kind of sucks; I missed the last day of Halloween stuff and I can't play at all now, so basically I'm being punished for supporting the company? I'm hoping that ANet is going to give some sort of reparation to those who have been affected by this, but somehow I'm doubting that's going to happen. Blah.

It seems to have affected people that has bought on the online store on Halloween, (or sometime near it).

I'm hoping for a fix soon.

Punishing people for spending money is not the best business technique. Hope they fix this soon!

Yet another reason for me not to ever buy anything from the online store. It's rare enough that it shouldn't be a problem for most people but I don't want to worry about the hassle.

I just purchased a name change and two storage panes a few days ago and so far no problem and I logged in just fine this morning.

I'm in the United States, so...

I will bring this issue to the attention of the Billing Team at NCsoft, hang in there - and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused

Awesome! I gotta say I totally freaked when I tried to log into my account the other day. Four years of playing gone like that. I hope this gets attention from the top dogs at Arena Net and NCsoft. If this has been going since roughly May...
My fiance and I eagerly await the return of our accounts..

I hope this isn't an issue that is going to take a week or more to resolve.

Every day that these people are unfairly banned is a day they miss out on collecting their Gifts of the Huntsman, going on raids with their guildmates, or whatever other daily activities they are used to doing after work or school.

I think ANet has some compensation to provide. Anyone agree?

PS: My account hasn't been banned, but I have guildmates and friends whose accounts have been affected by this. I haven't played Guild Wars since because it simply doesn't feel right to play the game without them.

Thanks, Martin, but why did it happen again? Wasn't this supposed to be fixed last May?

well i wasnt one of the buyers! i was afking in my gh while i was out to lunch. i come back to a error 007 yet again and when i tried to sign back on i got 045 code! they said i was a gold seller! i have proof the last thing i did was chat with my gl about about i needed to farm then went afk. then i was reading a few guru thread and went to eat.

only offline selling i ever did was on guru. does this mean selling on guru is now illegal? did i piss someone off on here or gw that would lie and get me ban? i never have ever sold gold/items for rl money! i always ignore those stupid gold bots(ignore list is full. as most people can tell you i am not computer savvy.

i have to have my dad walk me through imputing norton what does that tell you? i can only hope support can help me fix this soon. And if my account wasnt/was hack i would hope i get my stuff back. This isnt right at all! i hope this isnt how you treat all gw players. i remained a loyal fan even through allthe bad pings, bugg, nerfs, extra.

My friend got this exact same message from Lance.

If someone has gotten their account unfairly banned due to this incident, what should they be doing now? Do they all have to send in support tickets, or should everyone just wait for the entire situation to be resolved on it's own?

Some official word on what we should be doing would be appreciated.
